Techniques

Irvine Non-Surgical Facelift TustinThere are several different techniques we use here at AgelessMD. We understand sagging or drooping skin can have a profound influence on the way you see yourself. Read on to find out about the other techniques we use that can lift, tighten and sculpt your facial skin without surgery.

Irvine Mint PDO Threadlift

This technique is specifically designed to work on a drooping facial appearance. It provides a more V-shaped smooth and flattened look. Sessions are performed with biodegradable products and sterile hypodermic needles.

This technique can be used to lift the brow, reduce marionette lines and nasolabial folds. The threads used are biodegradable. They are made of a material called Polydioxanone, which is used in some orthopedic products. It is broken down by the body naturally and even exhaled through carbon dioxide or passed through urine.

Months

The threads will be reabsorbed several months after your last treatment. Irvine Mint PDO Threadlift works by stimulating the production of collagen. Your skin heals and moves into the position created by these threads.

This treatment is comfortable and quick. You can even receive a session over a lunch break.

Irvine Dermal Fillers

Ageless MD supplies a great selection of Irvine Dermal Fillers. They are made from hyaluronic acid and FDA approved. The products we carry are designed to help you get a more youthful appearance with added volume.

Many of our patients get excellent results after just a single treatment. These can last for up to one full year. There are several different formulas with different strengths to choose from.

Volume

These fillers work best in the areas of your face that have lost volume. Those include the jawline and temples as well as cheeks and tear troughs. Suitable candidates are anyone looking for more definition, volume and shape.

Irvine Cosmetic Fillers for Your Cheeks

Some of our patients ask about this procedure because they have low and barely visible cheekbones. Before the procedure, you should stop taking blood thinning medications for two weeks. That includes aspirin.

If you are on a prescription blood thinning medicine, let us know during your consultation. We can give you some additional information about preparing for your appointment.

The Procedure

On the day of your appointment, you’ll come in and settle down in our sterilized atmosphere. We can apply a topical anesthetic before any injections. Some fillers have a numbing agent already mixed in. The injection procedure itself is a simple one that only lasts about 20 minutes.

It usually takes about 48 hours for the filler to settle into position. However, many of our patients report noticing results immediately.

The Recovery Process

Try to avoid sleeping on your cheeks for several days after you have an injection. It’s better if you can lie flat on your back with your face up. Wait until the filler has taken shape before you return to any exercise routine.

It’s also important to keep your face dry and clean. You should also avoid touching it for the first several days after a session.

The Benefits

Irvine Dermal Fillers have several advantages over other options like facelift surgery. They carry an extremely low risk of serious infections or other complications. Dermal fillers used on the cheeks are less expensive than more invasive options like surgery.

We can perform this procedure right in our office with little or no anesthesia needed. There are a few side effects but the possibility of something like filler leakage is extremely rare.

Irvine Agnes

This is an acne solution that tackles troubled skin. It’s FDA approved and doesn’t blemish the skin around the treatment site. The goal here is to attack the offending sebaceous glands.
