Microneedling is known as percutaneous collagen induction which uses fine needles to create tiny punctures in the skin. This triggers the body’s natural healing response and stimulates the production of collagen and elastin, leading to smoother, firmer, and more youthful-looking skin. One of the key benefits of microneedling is its versatility as it can be used to treat a wide range of skin concerns, including fine lines and wrinkles, acne scars, pigmentation, and uneven skin texture and tone. Microneedling is a nonsurgical and minimally invasive treatment that is virtually painless and requires little to no downtime. Patients may experience some redness and mild swelling following treatment, but this typically resolves within a few days. With multiple treatments, spaced several weeks apart, patients can achieve significant improvements in their skin’s appearance and texture, resulting in a more radiant and youthful complexion. Microneedling can be supplemented with different modalities such as exosomes, Miracle serum, and PRX-T33.
With Benev’s Exosome Regenerative Complex+, microneedling can rejuvenate and moisturize the skin. The serum contains human adipose stromal cells, growth factors, peptides, coenzymes, vitamins, minerals, amino acids, and calming agents. As a result, exosomes help with tissue regeneration, accelerate recovery, and optimize treatment results. Choosing microneedling with exosomes is ideal for those wanting to reduce the appearance of fine lines and wrinkles, achieving radiant and even skin tone and texture, and overall rejuvenation to combat signs of aging.
With Miracle Serum, which contains a natural marine extract, microneedling can help address pigmentation and melasma. Although there is no cure for melasma, the miracle serum works by inhibiting tyrosinase production of melanin and other pigments thereby reducing the appearance of melasma and skin pigmentation. Those with hypersensitivity or allergy towards shellfish is not a good candidate for microneedling with Miracle Serum.
With PRX-T33, microneedling can be a potential treatment to visibly reduce the appearance of acne scars. Along with the collagen inducing properties of microneedling, PRX-T33 is a biorevitalization solution that consists of hydrogen peroxide and trichloroacetic
acid (TCA) which works to stimulate collagen fiber production and reduce scar depressions.

What does it feel like?
Microneedling is generally tolerable as we provide numbing time using a topical anesthetic prior to treatment. With the microneedling in combination with PRX-T33, there may be a temporary burning sensation which is expected and resolves within minutes of neutralizing the solution.
What is the Downtime?
Immediately after the treatment, there may be pinpoint bleeding which subsides within 5-10 minutes. You may experience some pain or discomfort, mild to moderate redness and swelling, and other inflammatory reactions like itching, warmth, flaking, or peeling that generally subsides in 1-2 weeks.
How Many Sessions are Needed?
Typically, patients may need anywhere from 4-6 sessions spaced 4-6 weeks apart; however, the number of sessions can vary based on individual skin concerns.
How Long Do Results Last?
Results may be seen in as little as 2 weeks and can be long-lasting depending on your skin’s natural aging process and how well you maintain your results.
